MARRIED IN MILWAUKEE - PART TWO

I just wanted to formally announce that The Home Market will be offering gift registry! Over the years so many people have asked if we offer gift and wedding registry, and we were like, coming soon, maybe, well it is finally here.

We will work with you one on one to turn your house into your home. You can choose from a wide selection of custom order bedding, beautiful tabletop, bathroom accessories and all the other home accessories in between.

Here are a couple of pictures from the event that we did this weekend at Broadway Paper - we met some amazing brides and couples planning for that big day and some great vendors in the Milwaukee area.

NYIGF - 2010

I just got back from my bi-annual trip to the NYGIF and am so excited for all the new products to arrive at the store! The NYGIF is where I find some of the Home Market’s best merchandise and I am always energized when I return from not only the show but New York itself. Walking through the hundreds of aisles can be overwhelming and inspiring at the same time – there were vendors from all over the world with many amazing products. I picked up some fabulous new lines as well as new items from some of my favorite vendors all of which are inspired by natural aesthetics.

Outside of the NYGIF, I always try to find a new and exciting restaurant while in New York. My favorite new place was Locanda Verde, Robert DeNiro’s rustic Italian eatery at the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca. Of course, my New York trip would not be complete without a stop to one of my favorite places -- The Spotted Pig in the West Village.
